Biography
Karla Sweet is a member of Arts Emergency, a mentoring group will change the lives of thousands of current and future students. They aim to ensure the doors of the university are kept open for those most able to benefit from, but least able to pay for education. Genevieve Dawson is an experienced facilitator and avid graduate at Campaign Bootcamp; upskilling and helping the next generation of campaigners. Andrea Kurland is the editor of Huck Magazine, part of the media company, Church of London. The heart of TCO London is comprised of two award-winning, global media brands: Little White Lies, your passport to truth and movies, and Huck, the DIY culture bible. Their team craft content marketing, or native advertising, that connects clients to bigger human stories. Alice Wroe is also the founder of the Herstory project, visiting schools around the UK, using art to engage young people with women’s histories and narratives.
The panel will be chaired by Sarah Corbett, founder of Craftivist Collective, a global social enteprise providing innovative craftivism (craft + activism) products and services to individuals and organisations around the world using craft a tool for slow, gentle and intriguing activism.
