On the occasion of the summer school, join internationally renowned Francis Bacon scholar, Dr. Rina Arya in conversation with artist Jai Chuan. This special exhibition tour will bring a unique insight to the works of Francis Bacon and Maria Lassnig, and include elements of self-portraiture, and the human figure, at the centre of both artists’ compositions.
Dr Rina Arya is a Reader in Visual Communication at the University of Wolverhampton, and the author of ‘Francis Bacon: Painting in a Godless World’ (2012).
