To mark the legendary rivalry between art giants JMW Turner and John Constable, Tate Collective invited London-based photographer Louis Bever to reimagine six classic landscape paintings in his own signature style.
Channelling the spirit of these two painters born just a year apart, Louis Bever uses the present-day football rivalry between Arsenal and Chelsea to tease Turner and Constable’s ‘fire and water’ contrast. His photography blends vintage sportswear with a distinct flair, offering a playful, accessible entry point into the Romantic world of Turner and Constable.
